Many publishers have reported declining Adsense revenues over the last six months, and now the Google Financial reports support this.  The number of publishers have increased, payout to the publishers has decreased.  While Google wants to collect all the information about your website, they are very secretive about the revenue share you get.  People have speculated that it is about 60% and they also charge an ad serving fee of  20% (which may have increased in recent months) .  If they have information that   your website converts better than their properties, they will disable your account, so that they can keep all the money with them.  Certainly an evil company.
